The 9.5″ outer Dia. x 10.5″ H (241mm x 267mm) safety can incorporates a stainless steel flame arrester that dissipates heat to prevent flashback ignition. As with all Type II safety cans, this container has two separate pouring and filling openings. Pour opening features an attached 9″ L x 5/8″ outer Dia. (229mm x 16mm) flexible metal hose. Fill opening has an ergonomically designed lift-lever for easy filling. Powder-coated finish resists chemicals and stands up to rough handling. Sealed lid’s automatic positive-pressure relief vents between 3 and 5 psig (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to protect against explosion.
