The 56BS43 is a fully assembled 42 gallon light granite slatted trash receptacle with a funnel top bug barrier lid. The unit includes the receptacle, lid, and heavy-duty black liner. Funnel top bug barrier lids feature a recessed door which stayed closed when not pushed in to prevent flies, gnats, bees and other pests from entering the trash can. The door allows large items such as plastic bottles or aluminum cans to easily enter. The funnel top is sloped to guide trash toward the door for efficient waste disposal in locations such as shopping centers, outdoor malls, food courts, or playgrounds.

This environmentally-friendly trash can is constructed from 100% recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE). As there are no metal parts, this unit will not rust. The high-strength, fade-resistant plastic is durable and will also not chip or peel, making this trash can ideal for both indoor or outdoor locations. The slatted sides have a similar appearance to natural wooden slats for an attractive view. They also offer a classic aesthetic look and deter vandalism. The included heavy-duty liner reduces garbage bag cost as it is removable. Simply empty the liner with handles when the receptacle fills up without the need of expensive bags.

Material:

High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures. HDPE heat compatibility varies. Maximum fill temperature is generally around 145°F; however, testing is recommended with your specific product and application.
