This one-piece 5″ x 3.25″ mica band heater is a high-temperature heater suitable for cylindrical surfaces in a variety of diameters. Band heaters are used for various applications including plastic injection molding, plastic extrusion, molding presses, die casting, blown-film, packaging, food processing, and analytical instrumentation. This heater features an electrogalvanized steel sheath that provides oxidation resistance and durability as well as mica insulation that provides excellent electrical insulation at high temperatures. Stainless steel clamps maintain clamping pressure at elevated temperatures. This heater has a 850° F (454° C) maximum operating temperature, making it perfect for high-temperature applications. One-piece heaters feature a full-length band clamp and have low-profile design that is both convenient and sleek.
