This is a flange mount TEFC (totally enclosed, fan cooled) direct drive tank mixer with 3/4 HP, 36″ shaft and 0-1725 RPM. This top entry vertical mixer with a plate is designed to efficiently turn-over small batches of a variety of different liquids and solids. Though mostly used with larger tanks (1,000-gallon capacity or more), this flange mount mixer can be used with a variety of different tank sizes and capacities. This direct drive tank mixer couples the mixer shaft directly to the motor. It also features a shaft support bearing that helps steady the mixing shaft when in use, reducing wear on the motor. The smaller mixing blades make it a better choice for mixing small batches of lower viscosities liquids and materials. The mixing blades fold down due to gravity and open when in use. The measured blade length is the blade’s diameter when extended during operation. The TEFC electric motor features an enclosure that prevents outside air from being freely circulated within the motor. The motor’s external fan blows outside air over the frame, helping to keep the motor cooled.
